What full spectrum means here: a far infrared-only cabin emits a single band. A full spectrum cabin adds near and mid infrared — near infrared is absorbed closer to the skin surface and warms the cabin faster, far infrared penetrates further and provides sustained background heat. Golden Designs publishes the 3 + 6 configuration but does not publish which count corresponds to which band, so Wellari does not state a near/far split for this model.

On heat-up time in a large cabin: a 6-person cabin has considerably more air volume and surface area to bring up to temperature than a 2-person unit at a similar heater count per occupant. Expect a longer pre-heat, and allow for it when planning sessions.

Golden Designs classifies the 8000 Reserve full spectrum range as Near Zero EMF.

Why we do not publish a number. Golden Designs' current V26.0 documentation, all issued on the same date, states different Near Zero EMF measurement figures for its full spectrum range in different documents — the model-family sheet, the full spectrum sheet and the dealer workbook do not agree with one another. Because those figures conflict, Wellari publishes the manufacturer's classification and does not quote a milligauss value for this model until Golden Designs reconciles them.

If a specific measured EMF figure is a decision criterion for you, contact us and we will request it from Golden Designs in writing.

When comparing sauna models generally, always compare the stated figure together with the distance at which it was measured. A lower number taken further from the panel is not necessarily a lower-emission cabin.

Two circuits means two independent runs from the panel. At 2,900 watts this is the highest-draw cabin in the Reserve range and well beyond what one household circuit can carry. Golden Designs specifies two separate 15-amp circuits, each with its own breaker and outlet, and specifies non-GFCI outlets. Two receptacles wired to the same breaker will not satisfy this.

Have a qualified electrician confirm that two separate dedicated circuits can be run to the installation point before you order. For a cabin of this size and weight, retrofitting a circuit after assembly is a substantially bigger job than doing it beforehand.

This is the largest footprint in the range — check depth carefully. At 55″ deep plus approximately 4.5″ of roof overhang, the cabin projects close to 60″ into the room. Combined with 73″ of width it needs a genuinely large wall, and the door swing and a comfortable approach path need to be planned on top of that.

Measure the full delivery path as well as the installation area: doorways, hallways, stair turns and tight corners. At approximately 640 lb assembled this cabin cannot be repositioned once built — confirm the final location before assembly begins.

Consider whether a paid inside-delivery or a local moving service is worthwhile for a shipment of this weight.

Natural wood notice: Grain, tone, knots and other natural characteristics vary between individual cabins and may differ slightly from product photography. This is normal for solid Hemlock Fir and is not a defect.

Usage: This sauna is intended for indoor residential use. Place it on a level, solid floor and operate it according to the manufacturer's instructions and electrical requirements.

Hydration and comfort: Stay appropriately hydrated, and leave the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, uncomfortable or otherwise unwell. In a group session, agree in advance that anyone can end their session at any time.
