Far infrared, full spectrum and traditional stove — the actual difference
Far infrared
Carbon or ceramic emitters produce far-infrared wavelengths only. The most common and most affordable route into a home cabin. This is the range you are looking at now.
Full spectrum
Adds near and mid-infrared emitters alongside far infrared. A different emitter package and a different price band — see the full spectrum range.
Traditional stove
Heats the room with a stove and heated stones rather than with infrared emitters. Wellari carries these as hybrid infrared/traditional cabins with a Harvia stove, listed in the full spectrum range.

Capacity and electrical — work this out before anything else
Every cabin in this range carries its electrical requirement as a product tag, and the product page is authoritative for the specific model. The pattern below is typical of this range, not a universal specification.
1–2 person
Usually 120V on a dedicated 15-amp circuit. Many are tagged Plug and Play.
3–4 person
Usually a dedicated 20-amp circuit. Normally an electrician visit.
5–8 person
Usually 240V or dual 20-amp circuits. Plan the circuit before you order.
Dedicated means dedicated. A 15-amp circuit shared with a freezer or a garage door opener is not the same as a 15-amp circuit serving the cabin alone. Check what the room actually has, not what the panel is rated for, and confirm the model’s stated requirement before ordering.
EMF — what the tiers mean
Cabins in this range are tagged Low EMF, Ultra-Low EMF or Near Zero EMF. These are manufacturer tier labels. The useful number is not the label but the milligauss reading with the measurement distance stated, because a figure quoted at the heater face and one quoted at the seat are not comparable. Where a manufacturer publishes a figure with its distance, the product page carries it. Where none is published, we say so rather than estimate.

Materials and construction
Wood
Canadian hemlock and red cedar are both used across this range. Cedar is naturally aromatic; hemlock is the more neutral finish. The material is specified per model.
Emitters
Carbon emitters spread heat across a larger panel area; ceramic emitters concentrate it. Heater type, count and placement are listed per cabin.

Common questions
How is a far-infrared cabin different from a traditional sauna?
The heating method differs. A traditional sauna heats the room with a stove and heated stones. A far-infrared cabin uses carbon or ceramic emitters instead. If you specifically want stove heat, look at the hybrid infrared/traditional cabins with a Harvia stove in the full spectrum range.
Do I need an electrician?
Many 1–2 person cabins are tagged 120V and Plug and Play and may use a standard 120V receptacle, provided it meets the model’s dedicated-circuit requirement. Three-person cabins and larger usually need an electrician. The requirement is stated on every product page — confirm it before ordering.
What does Low, Ultra-Low or Near Zero EMF actually mean?
They are manufacturer tier labels. Compare the published milligauss figure and the distance it was measured at rather than the label alone. Compare cabins by tier.
Can a far-infrared cabin go outdoors?
The indoor cabins in this range are not built for outdoor exposure. Wellari’s outdoor and indoor/outdoor cabins are the hybrid infrared/traditional Harvia-stove models listed in the full spectrum range.
How long does delivery take?
Lead time varies by model and manufacturer. The product page carries the current expectation for that cabin, and freight delivery is arranged with you once the order is processed.
