Zero EMF Infrared Saunas - Wellari Wellness

Low, Ultra-Low & Near Zero EMF Sauna Options

Infrared saunas classified by their manufacturer as Low EMF, Ultra-Low EMF, or Near Zero EMF. Each classification reports a different milligauss reading taken at a different distance from the heating panels, so the tier name on its own does not tell you how two saunas compare. The measured figures and their testing distances are set out below. Compare compact 1-person cabins through 6-person and corner configurations to find the combination of size, wood, features, and EMF classification that suits your space.

EMF TERMINOLOGY EXPLAINED

Understanding Low, Ultra-Low & Near Zero EMF Saunas

EMF classifications can vary by sauna model and manufacturer. The infrared saunas in this collection include models described by their manufacturers as Low EMF, Ultra-Low EMF, or Near Zero EMF. These terms indicate different levels of reduced electromagnetic field output and should not be interpreted as a claim of absolute zero EMF. When comparing models, review the individual product specifications and manufacturer-provided EMF information along with sauna size, heating system, materials, electrical requirements, and other features important to your installation.

EMF Classification

Low EMF

8 mG or Less
At 6–8 inches from the heating panels

Current Golden Designs documentation for applicable Low EMF models specifies EMF output of 8 milligauss or less when measured 6–8 inches from the heating panels.

EMF Classification

Ultra-Low EMF

≤1 mG at 5 in.
2.5 mG or less at 1 inch

Current Golden Designs documentation for applicable Ultra-Low EMF models specifies 1 milligauss or less at 5 inches and 2.5 milligauss or less at 1 inch from the heating panels.

EMF Classification

Near Zero EMF

0 mG at 3 in.
1 mG at 1 inch

Current Golden Designs documentation for applicable Near Zero EMF models specifies 0 milligauss at 3 inches and 1 milligauss at 1 inch from the heating panels.

EMF figures shown above reflect current Golden Designs manufacturer specifications for applicable models represented in this collection. Measurement distances differ by EMF classification, so these figures should not be compared without considering the stated testing distance.

Manufacturer specifications dated May 1, 2026. Review the individual product page and current manufacturer documentation for model-specific specifications before purchase.
