Both use the same linear motion and the same 10–40 Hz frequency range. The VT009 raises the rated user capacity from 250 lb to 300 lb, uses a 6 mm steel deck instead of a fibreboard platform with an ABS edge, and reaches a higher amplitude at the top setting (3.1 mm against 2.6 mm). It also weighs 46 lb against 26 lb.
Is the handlebar included?
No. The handlebar is an optional attachment sold separately by the manufacturer. The platform is supplied without it.
Should I choose linear or pivotal oscillation?
Linear moves the whole deck vertically; pivotal oscillation tilts it about a central axis. Neither is universally better and the two feel quite different underfoot.
