VT007 Linear Vibration Plate
The VT007 is the entry model in Vibration Therapeutic’s linear range. It runs the same 10–40 Hz vertical motion as the larger VT009, driven by three pairs of eccentric wheels onto a 20 mm high-density fibreboard deck, and is rated to 250 lb. It is the right starting point for a home user who wants genuine linear vibration without the weight and cost of a steel platform.
Wellari Expert Take
Why Consider the VT007?
The VT007 is not a cut-down version of the VT009 — it is the same motion at a smaller scale. Both run 10–40 Hz, both use two amplitude settings, and both are driven by paired eccentric wheels. What you give up moving down from the VT009 is deck material (20 mm fibreboard with a mould-injected ABS edge instead of 6 mm steel), 50 lb of rated capacity, one pair of eccentric wheels, and a little amplitude at the top setting — 2.6 mm against 3.1 mm.
For a single user under 250 lb who wants to try linear vibration properly rather than with a cheap consumer plate, that is a reasonable set of trade-offs. If you are near the capacity limit, or two people will use it, the VT009 is the honest recommendation instead.
Best For
- A first vibration platform, where linear vertical motion is what you want.
- Single users comfortably under the 250 lb rating.
- Home use in a bedroom, spare room or home gym.
- Anyone who wants the same frequency range as the VT009 at a lower entry point.
- Buyers who want a compact 22 × 16 in footprint rather than a full-size deck.
VT007 Features & Buying Details
Vibration Technology & Motion Pattern
- Vibration Type: Linear — controlled vertical movement across the platform.
- Drive System: Three pairs of eccentric wheels.
- Support System: Original spring set.
- Motor Power: 80 W.
Linear vibration lifts and lowers the whole deck together. It is a different sensation from the pivotal oscillation used on the VT027, where the platform tilts about a central axis like a see-saw. Neither is universally better, but they are not substitutes for one another — choose the motion first, then the size.
Frequency, Amplitude & Intensity
- Frequency Range: 10–40 Hz.
- Amplitude Settings: Two — High and Low.
- Amplitude, Low setting: 0.7–1.2 mm.
- Amplitude, High setting: 1.5–2.6 mm.
- Nominal G-Force: 0.2–3.3, as published by the manufacturer.
Amplitude is how far the deck travels; frequency is how often. Both are given as ranges because the figure changes across the speed range rather than sitting at one value — a single peak number quoted without its conditions tells you very little. The manufacturer publishes G-force as a nominal range and that is how it is reproduced here.
Platform, Capacity & Build
- Maximum User Weight: 250 lb, when operated in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Platform Material: 20 mm high-density fibreboard reinforced by a mould-injected ABS edge.
- Machine Dimensions: 22 × 16 × 5.7 in.
- Shipping Weight: 31 lb packaged.
On machine weight, we are not going to give you a single number. The manufacturer publishes two different machine weights for the VT007 in its own comparison documentation — 24 lb in one table and 26 lb in another. Rather than pick whichever looked more likely, we have left the machine weight out of the specification table below and stated both figures here with their basis. The packaged shipping weight of 31 lb is published consistently and is the figure that matters for delivery. If you need the exact unit weight, ask us and we will request it from the manufacturer in writing.
Controls, Setup & Portability
- Intended Setting: home use.
- Placement: a solid, level floor. A thick exercise or vibration-resistant mat is recommended to reduce noise and stop the unit drifting at higher settings.
The manufacturer’s product documentation describes onboard console and remote operation, a 1–20 minute session timer, three preset programs (P1–P3) and 1 Hz frequency adjustment. These operating details are reproduced from that documentation and are not part of the verified specification table below. Confirm the control set and what is supplied in the box against the manual before purchase.
Warranty, Safety & Contraindications
- Warranty: 10-year manufacturer warranty (United States).
- Place the platform on a stable, level surface before operation.
- Begin with lower frequency, amplitude and session-duration settings until you are familiar with the equipment.
- Follow all manufacturer instructions on stance, positioning, weight limits, operation, maintenance and storage.
- Stop use if unusual discomfort, dizziness, instability or equipment irregularities occur.
- Individuals with medical conditions, implanted electronic devices, balance concerns, pregnancy or other health considerations should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before use.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| VT007 (this page) | Linear | 10–40 Hz | 0.7–2.6 mm | 250 lb | 20 mm fibreboard |
| VT009 | Linear | 10–40 Hz | 0.8–3.1 mm | 300 lb | 6 mm steel |
| VT027 | Pivotal oscillation | 5–14 Hz | 10 mm | 250 lb | ABS on steel tube |
Choose on motion first. The VT007 and VT009 are the same linear motion at two scales — the decision between them is capacity and deck stiffness, not speed. The VT027 is the only model here with pivotal oscillation, and its 10 mm figure is not comparable to the linear amplitudes above because the two motions measure travel differently.

Common Questions
What is the difference between the VT007 and the VT009?
Same linear motion, same 10–40 Hz range. The VT009 uses four pairs of eccentric wheels instead of three, a 6 mm steel deck instead of 20 mm fibreboard, upgraded springs, a higher top amplitude (3.1 mm against 2.6 mm) and a 300 lb rating against 250 lb.
How much does the VT007 weigh?
Packaged for shipping it is 31 lb. We have not published a unit weight because the manufacturer states two different figures — 24 lb and 26 lb — in its own documentation, and we would rather tell you that than pick one. Ask us if you need it confirmed.
Should I choose linear or pivotal oscillation?
Linear moves the whole deck vertically; pivotal oscillation tilts it about a central axis. They feel quite different underfoot and neither is universally better. If you have tried one and disliked it, switching motion type is more likely to help than switching model within the same type.
Can two people use it?
The 250 lb rating is a maximum load, not a per-person figure. The VT007 is designed for one user at a time.
Is this a medical device?
No. The VT007 is fitness and movement equipment. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition.
Why Buy From Wellari
Manufacturer Specifications, Stated Plainly
Every figure in the specification table above comes from Vibration Therapeutic’s own published model comparison, not from a marketing sheet. Where a figure cannot be confirmed — the VT007’s machine weight, where the manufacturer publishes two different numbers — we leave the row out and tell you why, rather than choosing one and presenting it as fact. If you need a specification that is not listed here, ask us and we will request it in writing from the manufacturer.
