This is the only reclining tub in the Dynamic barrel range, and that is the whole point of it. The two 42-inch barrels are upright — you sit, water comes up around the chest. At 46 inches of interior length and 28 inches deep, this oval lets you extend your legs and lie back, which for most people is a materially easier way to spend three minutes in cold water.
It also has the easiest delivery in the range. Dynamic Cold Therapy ships this one by UPS/FedEx Ground rather than curbside LTL freight — despite it being the largest tub of the three. If your address is awkward for a freight truck, that alone may decide it.

Wellari carries both Dynamic Cold Therapy Premier Edition systems: the 0.8 HP and the 1.0 HP. Both cool to a low of 37°F, heat as well as cool, and use matching 3/4-inch connections. This is the largest of the three barrels by interior volume, so if it will sit outdoors, in a garage or in a hot climate, the 1.0 HP is the safer sizing.

46 inches of interior length is what you are buying. That is enough to extend your legs and recline against the end, rather than sitting knees-up as you would in a 42-inch upright barrel. At 26 inches of interior width it is snug across the shoulders — this is a single-occupant tub.
A note on the exterior wood. Dynamic Cold Therapy's price sheet, its product description and its feature copy all specify Pacific Cedar for this model. One field in the dealer workbook instead reads "Japanese Cedar". We publish Pacific Cedar because three of the four sources agree on it, and we have asked the manufacturer to confirm.
Plan for the filled weight. The tub is 200 lb empty and holds a larger volume than the upright barrels. Filled plus an occupant it is a substantial load spread over a 50 × 30 inch footprint — check the structure if siting on a raised deck, balcony or upper floor.

On the stated shipping weight. Dynamic Cold Therapy's documentation lists a shipping weight of 192 lb against a product weight of 200 lb. A shipment cannot weigh less than the product inside it, so one of those two figures is a documentation error. Plan on at least 200 lb and arrange help accordingly. We have raised the discrepancy with the manufacturer rather than pick whichever number is convenient.

Note the warranty term. Dynamic Cold Therapy provides one year across the cold therapy range — shorter than the five-year term on the Golden Designs saunas.
Natural wood notice: Grain, tone, knots and other natural characteristics vary between individual tubs and may differ slightly from product photography. This is normal for solid Pacific Cedar and is not a defect. Cedar has a natural aroma; a small number of people find cedar oils irritating.
Usage: Intended for residential use. Site on a level, solid, load-bearing surface and operate according to the manufacturer's instructions. Keep the cover locked when the tub is not in use, particularly where children have access — this matters more on a reclining tub, which is easier to fall into.

No. Dynamic Cold Therapy lists the cooling system as optional and describes this model as supplied "without motor". Wellari supplies it tub-only. It is pre-plumbed with 3/4-inch ball valves and quick connects, so adding a Premier Edition system later is a connection job.
Can I actually lie down in it?
Yes — that is what distinguishes it. The interior is 46 inches long and 28 inches deep, enough to extend your legs and recline. The two 42-inch barrels are upright, sit-in tubs. At 26 inches of interior width this is a single-occupant tub.
