RLM-1 Liquid Infrared LED Face Mask
The RLM-1 is the structured option in the range — 320 LEDs in a firm moulded shell. The rigid housing is the point: it holds the lights at a consistent distance from your face rather than resting against it, and it comes with a separate handheld controller and 5, 10 and 15 minute timers.
Wellari Expert Take
Why Consider the RLM-1?
This is the mask for someone who has already decided they want a structured routine rather than a casual one. The firm shell keeps every LED at a consistent distance and angle across the face instead of flexing with your expression, so each session is set up the same way as the last.
The trade is comfort and convenience. A rigid shell does not mould to your face the way silicone does, and there is a controller to hold or set down. If you would rather have something soft, cordless and low-effort, the CS-001 and RLM-6 are built the other way round.
One thing we want to be straight about: Red Luxe’s documentation lists a 2000 mAh battery and a wired controller for this model, and those two statements do not sit together clearly. We are not going to tell you it is cordless when the paperwork is ambiguous — ask us and we will confirm the exact setup with Red Luxe before you order.
Best For
- Shoppers who want a consistent, repeatable setup rather than a casual one.
- Anyone who prefers a firm shell that holds its shape over soft silicone.
- Routines built around set 5, 10 or 15 minute sessions.
- Buyers who want four wavelengths including 850 nm near-infrared.
RLM-1 Features & Buying Details
Build and Fit
- LED count: 320 beads, mapped across the face
- Housing: rigid liquid-moulded shell that holds the LEDs at a set distance and position
- Mask weight: about 308 g
- Controller weight: about 87 g
A firm shell and a soft mask solve different problems. Silicone is more comfortable and packs flat; a rigid shell keeps the geometry the same every time. Neither is better — they suit different people.
The Four Light Modes
- Red — 660 nm: the primary visible mode
- Near-infrared — 850 nm: invisible to the eye, so the mask can look dim while this mode is running
- Yellow — 590 nm
- Green — 525 nm
Each mode is selected on the controller. We publish the wavelengths Red Luxe states and describe what the modes are, without attaching outcomes to them.
Sessions, Power and Care
- Timers: 5, 10 or 15 minutes
- Control: separate handheld controller
- Power setup: Red Luxe’s documentation refers to both a 2000 mAh battery and a wired controller. Contact us and we will confirm the exact configuration with the manufacturer before you order
- Care: follow the cleaning instructions supplied with the mask; do not submerge the controller

Common Questions
Is the RLM-1 cordless?
We cannot tell you that yet. Red Luxe lists both a 2000 mAh battery and a wired controller for this model, and those do not reconcile on the page. Ask us and we will confirm it with the manufacturer. If cordless is a firm requirement, the RLM-6 and the CS-001 are confirmed.
How is it different from the RLM-6?
The RLM-1 is the structured option — a rigid shell with a separate controller. The RLM-6 is confirmed cordless with the controls on the mask, built for low-setup daily use. Both masks weigh about the same.
How heavy is it to wear?
The mask is about 308 g, with the 87 g controller held separately or set down. If weight is your main concern, the SNM8 is about 98 g.
How long is a session?
The controller offers 5, 10 and 15 minute timers. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions on frequency.
Does it cover the neck?
No — face coverage. The SNM7 is the only mask here with a neck panel.
Why Buy From Wellari Wellness
Manufacturer Specifications, Stated Plainly
Every figure on this page — power, LED count, wavelengths, timers and weights — comes from Red Luxe Light’s current published documentation for the RLM-1. Where that documentation is not consistent, as it currently is on how the mask is powered, we say so and offer to confirm it rather than choosing the more attractive reading. Products are sourced through verified manufacturer, distributor or supplier channels.
Not sure which mask suits you?
Tell us how you would use it — how often, whether you want it cordless, and whether you want your neck covered too — and we will tell you which of the seven fits, including when the least expensive one is the right answer.
