An 80 cm span is what separates this from every other stand RedDot sells. It reaches low enough to work with someone seated or lying and high enough for a standing full-body session, without anyone lifting a large panel by hand. In a clinic running back-to-back appointments with different clients, that is the whole argument.
It is also the most expensive and by far the heaviest option, and the panels it is documented for are the biggest ones. If your panel is a half-body unit, this stand is over-specified and the PS or FS will serve you better for less.

Will it work with my RDPRO1500 or RDPRO3000?
Those are not on RedDot's documented list for the RMS. The PS pneumatic stand covers the RDPRO3000 and paired RDPRO1500 panels.
How is it different from the VS?
Same documented panels, but the RMS is motorised across 80–160 cm where the VS is manual across 120–150 cm. The VS has no motor to service; the RMS needs no physical effort.
